Presently, while treating water a result control is necessary. We propose simple methods of measurement with the aim to relieve the operator's tasks in the routine control.
Description of the colorimetry
method:
A specific reagent for the parameter which is going to be determined is added to a small water
sample.
The sample develops a
coloration, which is proportional to the concentration of the parameter to be
determined.
The colour intensity is appraised to establish the
concentration.
We propose three
solutions, all of colorimetry type (see pictures on the side):
1.
Manual visual comparison.
The main generalities in short:
·
The colour of the reaction is compared with a coloured disk continuously, by means of an ocular
·
Operating a command, the value of the concentration of the parameter can be read with centesimal
precision
·
By changing the coloured standard disk, several measurements are possible
2.
Commercial automatic photometric comparison
The main generalities in short:
·
The colour of the reaction is electronically and continuously measured
·
Operating a command the value of the concentration can be read
·
Only the measurements of residue-chlorine and pH are possible
3. Professional automatic photometric comparisonProfessional
The main generalities in short:
·
The colour of the reaction is electronically and continuously measured
·
Operating a command the value of the concentration can be read
·
Only the measurements of chlorine, chlorine dioxide and other parameters are possible.
